Pull-Down Spout Makes It Easier to Clean

Empire Faucets Kitchen Faucet Pull Down Spout

Pull the spout down so you can easily tackle that food caked onto your plates or rinse the sides of the sink from any angle. Toggle between the stream and spray options depending on how much pressure you need or how long that food has been sitting there. When you're done using it, the spout self-retracts with a hose weight that can be adjusted anywhere along the spray hose.

How to Install a Kitchen Faucet

Empire Faucets Kitchen Faucet Installation

Depending on your setup, you'll need either the built-in round deck plate for a 1-hole installation or the included oval deck plate for a 3-hole installation. To install, use the inlet shank and drop the new faucet and a deck plate in place of your existing faucet. Then tighten the mounting nut onto the shank so that the washer is in between the nut and the underside of the counter. Finally, install the hose weight, thread the pull-down head's hose onto the faucet's center inlet, and connect the braided hot and cold water lines. You'll need to keep some tub and tile caulk (not included) on hand to help prevent any leaking.

Video Transcript for Review of Empire Faucets RV Faucets - Kitchen Faucet - EM63PR

Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Empire Faucets Hybrid RV Kitchen Faucet with Pull Down Spout. Now this faucet is gonna go ahead and allow us to place our older faucet in our RV without too much trouble with installation. It is made of a stainless steel construction, which ensures we stay free of corrosion. And it also utilizes a diamond ceramic disc cartridge, allowing our water to mix inside the cylinder and overall reduce the amount of maintenance required to keep it in working order, especially compared to other types of faucets.

This is also what allows us to have our single lever design here, allowing that water to mix. And the gooseneck spout also offers us a 360 degrees of revolution. I would just be careful of rotating this too much, though, 'cause it is going to mess with our water supply lines down here. Take a look at the lines themselves. You can see we also have a nice stainless steel construction on those water lines.

You have that half inch fitting for our male connections to allow us to connect to our water supply. Therefore we won't have any rust or corrosion and we can go ahead and quickly get these guys installed. This is actually where all of your hardware is too, guys. It takes no time at all to actually get this in place. We simply have to put in, either our single or triple hole installation, and that actually is where your optional backing plate here can go.

So this mounting plate can simply slide on here. If you're like us and you have those three holes and you wanna cover them up, therefore we can get them in place. However, if you just have the single, that you guys can see, you can easily go ahead and put that in as well. Now that plate isn't needed of course. But it can go ahead.

It will give you that nice, executive look for ourselves. Well it does have flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute and with a couple of different offerings here on the hose head. We should actually be able to get pretty standard pressure here for ourselves. We do have a single setting here and a multiple setting with a simple click of that button. You'll notice too that, that hose of course can come down with that pull down spout. And it quickly cinches itself up, with the help of our weight that we have installed. To get that weight installed, too guys, you just simply put it in, clamp it around that hose. It'll bring itself down in no time at all. It does also have a nice, little magnetic holding here at the top, just so that it isn't falling, especially as we are traveling in our RV. Now let's go ahead and start breaking down some of our dimensions here, guys. For our internal assembly here, this little housing here, let's go ahead and get our max width already, with our lever folly extended here and to take in account for our base, we should be sitting right at five and one quarter inches for ourselves. Now our plate width here, guys, is also gonna be nine and three quarters for ourselves. While the thickness of this plate sits right at three eighths of an inch. Now our overall height of our spout from our counter is going to put us right at 17 inches there at the very middle. Now take in account for that plate, too. You could be adding three eighths of an inch, just for that plate on the other side, so keeping that thickness in mind. Now our spout length from center, here. So go ahead and give us an idea, from the very center of our hole to the very edge of our spout. And I'll go ahead and try to line this up right here, guys, is gonna be putting us at nine and a half inches for ourselves. Again, those water line fittings will be right at half inch, so we should have no trouble at all getting that hooked up to our water. Well we do also offer a variety of colors in this model, so be sure to check out which color fits you best. And if you are looking at a couple other designs, I highly recommend taking a look at some of the other Empire Faucets to fit whichever one is going to match your vehicle the best. Well guys, I think that about does it for our look at the Empire Faucets Hybrid RV Kitchen Faucet with Pull Down Spout, here at etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. Thank you for watching..

It installs easily and works great. It might be a bit bigger than what you are expecting. Mine was missing several parts but etrailer sent me them quickly.

The Ultra-Faucets Side Lever RV Kitchen Faucet # 277-000129 that you referred to has an overall height of close to 17-inches. The tall gooseneck design of this and similar side lever faucets like the chrome model # 277-000402 means that all of these faucets will have pretty much the same overall height. The only ones close to 15 inches are the # EM63PR at 15-3/16", the # PF221306 and 277-000175, at 11-5/8", # 34427353891BNAF at 15-3/4",
